We show you what's in every guidebook, and what never makes it into one — no crowds, at your own pace.
One person handles it all: transfers, hotels, logistics between stops, arrangements with winemakers, restaurants, or local guides, depending on where you're headed. If plans shift along the way — weather, roads, the mood of the day — the route shifts with them.

What is the Basque Country and how is it different from the rest of Spain?
The Basque Country is a world of its own within Spain. Its own language, its own food, its own culture — no flamenco, no sangria. Instead: pintxos, cider, Rioja vineyards 40 minutes from the ocean, and world-class gastronomy. More Michelin-starred restaurants per capita than almost anywhere in Europe. Add dramatic cliffs, medieval villages and the Bay of Biscay coastline — all within one day's drive.
When is the best time to visit Northern Spain?
May-June and September-October are the sweet spot. Warm, uncrowded, cheaper than summer. July-August is peak season — the coast gets busy, accommodation prices jump, book 2-3 months ahead. Winter is mild and rainy — almost no tourists, completely different atmosphere.
How much does a Basque Country tour cost?
Group tours start from €800 per person — that covers several days with transport, a guide and some meals included. Private tours are built individually — price depends on the number of days, group size and your preferences, with an approximate cost of €350 per day (1 to 3 people). Will we spend the whole day in Bordeaux listening to winery lectures?
No. No dry theory, no long lectures on soil composition. We're here to relax, eat well, and drink great wine. Bordeaux is about pleasure, not a sommelier exam.
Can we see both Bilbao and San Sebastián in one day?
Yes — they're about an hour apart. That kind of day usually works as a morning in one city and an afternoon in the other, rather than a quick pass through both.
Can we see Bordeaux in a day trip from the Basque Country?
Technically, yes (roughly 2–2.5 hours each way from San Sebastián or Biarritz), but at that distance it's more of a long excursion than the "intimate" few-hour format — half the day goes to driving. Bordeaux really deserves its own day, not an add-on to a Basque Country tour.
How cold is it, and how physically demanding is Iceland?
This isn't a survival trip. You'll see wild nature, but you'll live in comfort — warm 4x4s, good hotels, and a thermal spa most evenings. The harsh side of Iceland stays outside the window.
When's the best time to visit Iceland?
There isn't really an off-season here — Iceland has its own beauty year-round. The one thing to know: winter days are noticeably shorter, so you'll have less daylight to see everything in.
What's included in the price and what's paid separately?
Included: transport along the route, guide services, some meals (breakfasts or lunches depending on the program), entrance fees to locations listed in the itinerary, guide accompaniment throughout, storytelling and local context, various assistance before arrival and during the trip.
Paid separately: flights to Bilbao or San Sebastián, meals, personal expenses, travel insurance.What if something goes wrong during the tour?
I live here and I'm always reachable. If something changes — weather, roads, bookings — we sort it on the spot. Over several years of running tours things have gone sideways before: we always found a solution without ruining the trip. You're not on your own — there's someone next to you who knows the region and knows what to do.
How do I book a spot on a tour?
Message us on WhatsApp, Telegram or through the contact form on the site. We'll confirm dates, format and details — and lock in your spot. A deposit confirms the booking. Simple as that.
What's the difference between a PDF guide and a tour?
A tour means we travel together. I lead the group, show the places, explain the context, handle everything on the spot. A guide means you travel independently — but with our itinerary in your pocket. A detailed PDF with maps, timing, food picks and local tips — open it and go. A tour is about immersion with a guide. A guide is about freedom at your own pace.
Can the itinerary be adapted to my needs?
Yes, in both formats. With the ready-made guide — each day is independent, use all of it or just the days you need, change the order as you like. If you want a fully custom itinerary — that's a private tour: your dates, your cities, your pace, your interests. Built from scratch around you specifically.
