    12 AUGUST · ECLIPSE DAY

Important: arrive before lunch — after that, the main event begins.

We check in to Pamplona and head to La Rioja.
Laguardia — a medieval fortress town above the vineyards. And in the evening — what it's all for. A private winery. Sunset over the vineyards, a glass of wine, live music. And the day fades. The sun disappears, stars appear in broad daylight.
The light returns — afterparty until late into the night.

    We head to the coast

A winery in Getaria — txakoli grown right above the ocean. Views of the Atlantic, a glass of wine, a conversation with the winemakers.
Next — the most scenic spots along the ocean coastline. Cliffs, steep drops, water stretching to the horizon.

In the evening — San Sebastián. One of the most beautiful cities in Europe. A guided tour, dinner, the famous Basque cheesecake.

The risk cannot be ruled out entirely — this is nature. But the location has been chosen for the best possible chances.
